Dorel Juvenile wanted to engage their global team in developing the next level customer experience for the company. We were thrilled to partner with them in this journey by bringing colleagues together from around the world for a two-day workshop designing Dorel’s future CX.
Check out the highlight video from across the event, hosted in Munich, Germany, and read more on our insights below.
Strativity had the privilege of conducting a two-day Co-Creation Workshop for the executives of Dorel Juvenile—the leading manufacturer of juvenile products with a diverse range of brands including Maxi-Cosi, Cosco, Safety 1st, and Tiny Love. 75 colleagues came together from across the world to imagine the future of engagement with parents and parents-to-be.
Together, we explored the unmet needs of today’s parents and the needs of Generation Z. We used the collective knowledge and inspiration in the room to co-create the future of the company. It was amazing how in two short (granted, pretty packed) days we were able to craft over 300 ideas and a total of 39 innovation concepts. The future is bright with much hope!
The key insight we took away from the workshop was simple: people just need to be given the space and the environment to envision and create. You cannot get true innovation from sitting in the same meeting rooms under the same business mindset, chasing emails, and facing day-to-day operational pressures. Don’t underestimate the power of your people to imagine the Next if the right concoction of inspiration, insights, and space is provided to them. With Dorel, our role was to curate the insights and create the inspiration, then hand them the tools for creation. They were the artists of their future canvas.
We recently conducted a smaller version of a Co-Creation for another client, utilizing all of their customer data to center the team’s focus on the same missions and encourage each person to take ownership of a workstream that will turn insights into action. With a directed approach and a limited budget we were able to create excitement, engagement, and commitment. Again, the concept of time, space, and framework meant gaining commitment and achieving execution.
